I had to find a place to vent my frustrations when it comes to this but my god I am still angry. I was unfortunately subject to the problem of the Bethesda Launcher deleting my entire game of Fallout 76 which caused me no end of frustrations however I dealt with the problems and continued on my way. Now with it suddenly deciding to not recognise I have game files in the correct folder, not telling me I have to suddenly download a 30GB update and spreading files all over my external hard drive instead of allowing me to contain it all inside a folder you can understand how I am not having a good day.
All of these problems mean I can’t try out the Beta test today and have to wait yet another day before I can have a go. This is a shame as despite the shoddy design and bugs I was enjoying my time with the game but all of these extrenal issues (especially with the useless launcher) is highly diminishing my experience with the game. These issues need to be sorted otherwise I may find myself too frustrated to bother even playing the game. Don’t shoot the runner before he has even started the race Bethesda. This could have all been avoided if they had just used Steam to host the game.
