One thing that annoys me in Elden Ring is the limit to how many characters you can have in your save files. The maximum of 10 sounds like plenty of different characters to play as, until you consider the fact that there are so many items and playstyles you could base your entire character on, and even doing challenge runs, that constantly deleting one character slot just to play them is a real hassle.
That’s why this amazing program, Elden Ring Character Manager, is an absolute must for me. It enables you to directly affect your in-game save files by storing characters on a temporary files that can then open up new slots for you to make new characters while keeping your old ones safe. It’s not a perfect solution, but it’s a hell of a lot better than what FromSoft has decided to go with in their game.
