I feel that games that pride themselves on telling you exactly what they are even if they end up sounding like detrimental or questionable things are to be respected for the sheer amount of enthusiasm and confidence that they portray. That certainly seems to be the case here with the latest release from David Szymanski, the creator of Dusk known as ‘Chop Goblins’.
The game treats itself as a ‘microgame’ and proudly displays that it can be beaten in around 30 minutes and is meant as more of a small but fun experience for you to try out. It’s of course another first person retro-style shooter and the premise is that you are chasing the titular Chop Goblins through time to take them out. Simple, fun and I’m sure it will be a great time for retro shooter fans. The game releases on 2nd January so if you’re a fan of David’s precious work then I’m sure you’ll enjoy this one too.
