I don’t like sharing personal things online, but I must apologise or not uploading on Friday. My family faced a great tragedy that I don’t think we will truly recover from for a while.
We got 2 lovely kittens back last year, and one of them, Debra, sadly passed away last week and we are all truly devastated. Debra was such a lovely cat, very shy and not a fan of strangers, but once you got her trust she was such a loving and caring cat. She liked to demand pets and attention on her own terms and would actually call me through at various times just so she could lie on me and recieve pets. She even used to do this every morning, so I started each day with a lovely, beautiful face and true, unconditional love, While her life may have been short, she spent every day shining up my day and she will be truly missed. I don’t think I will be truly ok for a long while, as we get used to a life where her light isn’t present, but for the sake of looking after her brother, Dexter, we will soldier on and remember her as the previous babygirl who we sang songs for and played with. I love you Debra, sleep well.
