The Surprise Price

LIGHTNING!

So I was prepared this past weekend to hop between playing 2 games that just released, Path of Exile 2 and Marvel Rivals, with that plan that I would do mini-reviews on both games as they would work to keep my attention for the next few weeks. However, turns out one of them is off the table currently which means hey, a full review for the other can actually happen!

Path of Exile 2 released onto Early Access, and while I thought that meant what it usually means, a full release but it’s a bit buggy, turns out the devs are really emphasising this is not the full release and as such while the full product will be free to play getting access to the game now will require you to pay an ‘Early Access Supporter Pack’ which means the game functions like a standard buy and play game. While this makes sense from a business perspective, I do feel a little bit disappointed as I did want to at least try it out and the price tag means I don’t feel the need to do so.

Still, it means I can focus all my attention on Marvel Rivals now, so I’m happy to just wait until the game is fully released. Until then… time to be a superhero! That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
