With the Pokemon live-action movie coming out next month it’s no surprise that other gaming franchises are seeing fit to break into the movie market with a more realistic approach to their art style. One such rumored series is Sonic with a supposedly leaked poster above showing the… odd looking hedgehog with many other promotional images being released too.
While the Pokemon movie could be seen as slightly nightmarish with the art style considering that many Pokemon in real life would look terrifying I think this correctly proportioned sonic might just take the cake for looking awful. I think it might be the muscles on the legs, truly a furry’s greatest dream come true.
No trailer has been released yet so we cannot confirm anything about this project or how it will actually transition into movement but I am certainly interested to see what the general public think of this when we see some actual movie footage.
