Bethesda really aren’t doing well to keep that player positivity that they built up over all these years. In an interesting move the company have announced that they are stopping all development on future content for their virtual Hearthstone-esque card game The Elder Scrolls: Legends.
This announcement comes after players were expecting a winter-themed expansion set of cards for the game that was suppossed to come out near the end of this year however it seems as though that isn’t happening. The game will still have support for future temporary events and the servers will stay up however any future expansions or new cards are no longer in the pipeline. This effectively means that the game is receiving no new content which is sure to drive player numbers down hugely. It seems as though Bethesda are starting to realise the faults of chasing gaming trends and not succeeding at establishing yourself in the market, let’s just hope this won’t affect any of their other projects.
That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
