A big bidding war has started recently to take over a big development company in England, Codemasters. They’re mainly responsible for many of the racing titles that you see on every console and as such as you might imagine cornering the racing game market by buying out one of the best in the industry has become a huge topic of debate among publishers.
Originally Take-Two were going to be the buyers of the company and had even put an offer in for the initial buyout however it seemas though EA have seen the benefits of adding another company to their portfolio and as such have also put in an offer for the company. At this point it’s unknown which offer Codemasters will end up going for but all I will say is while money is nice be sure to do your research and consider all the decisions before you make your choice Codemasters, bigger companies than yours have made equally bad mistakes when it comes to buyouts.
