Another thing introduced in the Warhammer Skulls stream was that Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 would be getting standard multiplayer again but would also be receiving a co-op wave-based survival game mode similar to the multiplayer of Mass Effect 3, god I miss that mode.
I never played the first Space Marine game, primarily because I wans’t into Warhammer when it initially came out, but I just realised that I have it in my Steam library so maybe I will give it a shot to see if I like it… Anyway, for the multiplayer of the second game it looks to be exactly what you would expect a PvP Space Marine game to be which is always welcome. That, combined with the announcement that the game will feature no microtransactions is excellent news and really makes me think this could actually be something to keep an eye on. Guess I’ll be checking up on this in the future after my first game playthrough, maybe this will be something to hook me into Ultramarine love…
