Konami and Bloober Team have finally revealed a short gameplay segment of the planned remake of Silent Hill 2 which can be seen above. The game seems fairly faithful to the original though with a couple modern changes such as actual animations for equipment swapping and little bits and piece changes here and there as to be expected from new developers checking out an older game. Does it ruin the original experience? I don’t know, I’ve never played it. I’m curious enough that depending on the reception of the game I may end up trying it out but I want to play the best version of Silent Hill 2 that I can, I just hope this one is actually it. The game is coming out on the 8th October so we will have to wait and see.
