A while back I played a cool vaporwave-themed game known as Broken Reality which was, when broken down, a puzzle-based collectathon that themed itself around an early internet 3D chatroom. It was strange, it was colourful and by god it was a visual spectacle, aiming directly for someone of my age who remembers such spaces.
Well as it turns out the sequel, Broken Reality 2000, has had a bit of a surprise launch and is actually out right now! The sequel seems to be more of the same but on a larger scale, so for me that’s exactly what I’m looking for. I wasn’t a huge fan of how the original game’s tone and gameplay changed for the final sequence so I’m hoping that fate doesn’t befall the sequel too. I’ll try to get a review out for this game, though it may take some time as I’m quite busy right now. Regardless, I’m excited to play this and you can check it out also by visiting their Steam page right here.
That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
