Serves you right

I briefly covered the subject of Fortnite Live, an event recently held here in the UK which was an unofficial and complete disaster of a family day out, which managed to rip parents off by offering terrible and unprepared services for a steep entry cost. Now it seems as though the company behind it all, Exciting Events, may have a legal battle on their hand as Epic Games, the original creators of Fortnite, are sueing the events company for using their assets and misleading the public.

Honestly it seems as though these people deserve it as they clearly banked on the popularity of the game and the confusion by parents who don’t know anything about gaming to make a quick buck by selling an experience to children that involves a free to play game that they could just as easily play back at home. Epic Games filed a claim into the High Court of London so I look forward to seeing where this all goes. Not so exciting now are you?

That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
