And now onto the good stuff!
It really seems as though March is going to be one of the best months in gaming history for quite a while now as another brilliant title has just been added onto the release window. While many people were conflicted at the announcement of DLC for Sword/Shield the first announcement of the direct was actually the main one that people (including myself) are incredibly excited for, “Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX” (wow that is a mouthful).
This will be the first mystery dungeon game released on the Switch and is actually a remake of the original Red/Blue Rescue team games that were originally released on the Gameboy Advance. Now I am an absolute sucker for the mystery dungeon games and the GBA + DS entires are my favourites so having these games be re-released to the public alongside having beautifully drawn 3D models and an updated soundtrack has me salivating at the prospect. They even released a free demo on the E-Shop that you can check out right now which of course I did and the game is exactly what I wanted it to be. There are a few updates features but for the most part it’s a one to one remaster of the original and I couldn’t be happier for it.
The game is set to be released on March 6th so that will be another game to add to the list. Looks like my review quota is going to be absolutely filled during March, I am both incredibly excited and scared at the prospect of all that writing. Still it reaffirms that this year will be good for gaming and I cannot wait to see what else it has in store for us. That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
