In even more sad news about the state of the higher tiers of the gaming industry it seems more studio closures from Take-Two Interactive have been discovered in a recent Bloomberg Report. The most recent casualty, Intercept Games, are the developers behind Kerbal Space Program 2 which has had a rocky start ever since it was released in February of last year.
The game itself seems to have calmed down a bit on the negative discourse through various patches and updates, however the game it still far from a complete experience that is worthy of being compared to the original game. As such, this news comes at a troubling time as it’s not sure if any future patches will be created for this game. Take-Two have stated that someone will be doing more work on the game, but considering this announcement isn’t fully official yet who really knows at this point. Just another casualty, just another brick in the wall. Maybe this industry at the highest level really will crash, guess we just have to wait and look for the initial embers.
That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
