Wargroove 2 has been announced! Woohoo! If you don’t remember Wargroove was a turn based strategy game from 2019 that became a type of fantasy spiritual successor to the Advance Wars series that I really enjoyed. Now it seems Chucklefish, and this game’s new developers ‘Robotality’, have decided a sequel is ripe for the making!
The game itself seems very similar to the first but with slightly upgraded visuals, new factions, a new co-op mode and even a new rogue-like mode called ‘Conquest’ which will see you take on various skirmishes while carrying over resources and units from previous battles, interesting idea! No release date yet unfortunately but I for one am very excited as I really enjoyed the first game so getting to play another round is sure to bring plenty of fun to my afternoons! Dibs on the undead faction again!
