Hello everyone, it’s been a while. Thank you all for your patience, onto the usual interesting gaming news.
Whilst I have a VR headset I don’t tend to use it that often as it can be a bit of a pain to set up with wires and such. That hasn’t stopped me from checking out interesting VR Experiences and games though, and this one in particular is so interesting to me that I think I’ll be setting up the base stations once again.
EmuVR is a program that has been out for a while now and I have no idea why I have never heard of it before. It’s a simple concept in theory, it’s a multi-use emulator that you play in VR with the twist being that you do all of this through a simulation of a childhood bedroom from the 80’s/90’s. This gives the experience an entirely unique feel compared to any other form of emulation and allows you to have a slice of your childhood again. You’re not just playing a classic game you love, you’re playing a classic game whilst also being transported back to a simpler time. It even allows you to play multiplayer, letting you ‘invite’ people round to your room to play local split screen together! A very cool concept, and one that is only getting better over time. You can find out more about it and download the program right here.
That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
