E3 Cancelled

Another one bites the dust

Well it’s official, a virus has successfully destroyed not only people’s lives but also the momentum of the gaming industry’s new feed, go figure. Due to the outbreak of the Corona virus there were rumours that E3, the biggest gaming convention in the world, was going to be suspended for a few weeks now. However it has now been officially confirmed that the event is fully cancelled and all those who were due to attend will be getting refunds.

The organisers stated that they were looking to perhaps create an ‘online experience’ to re-create the announcements of E3 but what exactly that would entail has not been revealed yet. To be perfectly honest I never thought I would attend E3 anyway so this doesn’t affect me too much as I have been experiencing the event online ever since I first started paying attention to it. Maybe from here on depending on how successful the online replacement is that will actually be the primary form of the convention going forward, I suppose we will just have to wait and see.

That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
