Prominent Indie company Chucklefish are set to Publish a brand new classic style RPG similar to games like the ‘Mother’ series and Zelda known as Eastward.
The game is developed by the Shanghai based company Pixpil who have finally released a trailer for the game and my god does it look incredibly beautiful. It mixes the wonderful aesthetic of pixel art made by an incredibly talented artist with the setting of a steampunk-ish post apocalyptic setting and the results are certainly breathtaking. The game is said to have puzzle solving elements and also dungeon-like areas so classic Zelda fans will certainly have their itch scratched. No confimed release date for the game yet however with how lovely this game looks I hope the studio takes time to perfect it as from the aesthetics alone this could very well be a big hit for those looking for an old RPG experience.
