CS:GO Pro Coaches Cheating

Bomb has been planted…

Well it seems that even at the highest level of play you can’t stop people cheating in video games, what a shame.

Currently there is a big E-Sports tournament going on centered around Counter Strike: Global Offensive known as ESL. This is perhaps the biggest time for the pro scene of the game and it has come out that several of the coaches of different teams were using a bug to gain access to a spectator camera during the middle of a match which allowed them to relay important information that the teams shouldn’t have had access to back to the players and helped them get ahead in their matches.

This is of course completely not allowed and essentially equates to teams that cheat having an ‘eye in the sky’ which gives them a significant advantage. The ESL has already handed out bans to several teams who’s coaches used this bug and are investigating all their matches to see if this has been used more than they originally thought. It’s a shame that it’s come to this but I suppose when massive amounts of money are on the line people will do whatever they think they can get away with to win, and isn’t that just a show of human nature at it’s nastiest.

That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
