Total War: Warhammer 3 has had a lot of big announcements lately with changing release dates, new gameplay styles and even entirely new factions being revealed for the Warhammer Fantasy world. The most recent announcement was the reveal of the how the hordes of one of the infamous Chaos gods, Tzeentch, will look and what mechanics they will have on the campaign map.
This faction will of course focus around the trickster demon’s manipulative ways and will have many ways to outright avoid fights by forcing other factions to do battle with each other, teleport and ambush unwary travelling armies and even completely stop movement for an enemy faction for an entire turn. Alongside this they will focus upon manipulation of the Winds of Magic, collecting grimoires to make themselves more powerful and it was even mentioned that Tzeentch units will have some form of barrier to protect themselves on the battlefield.
It all seems very fitting for this Chaos God and with more news coming over the following weeks I am very much looking forward to seeing exactly how the other Chaos god factions will play on both the campaign map as well as in battle.
