Celebrating Video Game Print History

To think… something YOU wrote could be up here!

The Video Game History Foundation has been a crucial part in keeping the history of the industry alive with so much information being stored surrounding game development, articles on games and even soruce codes being stored to keep our industry afloat through the difficulties of time passing. In a very exciting move they recently announced that they would be releasing a ‘Digital Library’ later this month which would cover even more print and development materials to help preserve our history and provide access to a large amount of interesting information and secrets. I for one am excited to see what things they have in store, and while there may not be everything that people are hoping for, the fact that this stuff is at least being recorded and stored is a godsend. We need things like this to celebrate our past in order to look toards the future. Don’t let preservation projects like this die out and check out their stuff, I’m sure you’ll find something interesting!

That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
