It seems that Baba is done filing taxes in their previous spin-off game, now it’s time for them to pilot a mecha based on their own likeness to save the world, naturally.
Another spin off from the lovely ‘Baba is You’, this time we have ‘Mobile Suit Baba’, an isometric turn-based puzzle game that is heavily styled off another indie game, ‘Into the Breach’. The game is another short snack of creativity that sees you doing, just like Into the Breach, moving around giant mechs powered by the titular Baba and friends to stop fruit being stolen. Of course, with this also being a Baba game you can also change the fundemental aspects of the world by changing up the words describing each missions. It’s silly, it’s goofy and I love the concept down to my core. I hope we see a lot more silly spin-off Baba games, and you can check this one out right here.
