If you forgot that Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was a thing that was being developed then I don’t blame you. The game has been fraught with development delays, strange management changes and the game was considered essentially scrapped forever last time we heard of it, but as it turns out looks like it will actually be getting released, and with a new developer too!
This time the game is being developed by ‘The Chinese Room’ who are most well known for various story-focused games such as ‘Dear Esther’ and ‘Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture’ and as such taking on a complex RPG is an odd choice. Still with a new trailer released and a statement from the company highlighting the failures of the past and looking towards a completely rebuilt future I’m sure that fans of this series will be delighted to see it has not been left dead in a ditch. The game is set to come out in the Autumn season of next year, so we will just have to wait and see how it turns out.
That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
