I love the XCOM series, it’s one of my most favourite series of Strategy games, the modern ones anyway. So it was very hurtful to be informed earlier today that XCOM 2 came out 9 years ago, that can’t be right, I was a young spring chicken then, XCOM 2 is a modern game! Right…?
Well no, turns out the game has been out for a while, and considering the very teaser-like nature of the original ending to the game many have been wondering, where is the sequel? I for one would love an XCOM 3, but it seemsas though Fireaxis have been busy developing Marvel stuff and god know what else. I think I speak for most strategy fans when I say, Where XCOM 3? Where is it? And no, Chimera Squad doesn’t count.
