As the big game releases make their way into my ownership I should probably mention that I have been playing the recently released Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary for the Master Chief Collection on PC and have found myself truly realising just how many features I miss from the future games.
Now don’t get me wrong I’m still enjoying myself, it IS still Halo after all. However things that I associate with being staples for the series such as boarding vehicles or the Energy Sword not being here is really strange to me. It makes me realise just how integral these kind of things are to the entire ‘Halo Experience’ and that not having them there just feels as though they aren’t even the same games.
What I’m most curious about however is what those of you who play the Halo games consider staple parts and that them being absent just wouldn’t make them the same. So please do let me know what your opinions about this subject is as I’m truly fascinated to know what different people value in these shooters. That’s all for now, and as always.
