With the Backrooms movie coming out very soon the genre of Liminal Horror is about to explode onto the general public. In the land of video games we of course have experienced this genre plenty, too much according to many people, but for films this is going to be a very interesting look into what people think about liminal spaces and how they are perceived. I for one adore the genre, and from what I’ve heard so far the film does the community justice, and so I look forward to seeing what comes next. Maybe Poolrooms? I do hope that one is a lot more tranquil if so.
