After watching the wonderful documentary ‘The Remarkable Life of Ibelin’ I was really reminded of how important it was to have friends that I have never met in real life. Some of my most fond memories are of those I met online and shared in virtual experiences, and it saddens me to know there are various people that believe that such friendships/relationships aren’t ‘real’.
I feel this stigma is starting to break down more over the years but many still attribute online interaction to no substitute for physical ones. I note to many that I met my wife online, and while yes it developed into meeting face to face it was still just as lovely in text. I hope that the documentary really sparks the love that people have for one another online and they share the stories of their friends and the interactions they had together. This post is for all the lovely people I know online, you are all awesome!
That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
