As you may imagine since picking up and playing Dark Souls 2 I have experienced quite a bit of frustration at certain points, particularly when it comes to a certain fire spewing demon… As such I have had to step away from the game briefly to get my bearings, calm down, and then when I return use my newfound focus to take on the enemies again with much greater success this time.
It got me thinking though, I’m curious to know what tactics you all use to calm yourselves down after a particularly frustrating or anger inducing point in a game? My personal recommendation is, strangely enough, doing a chore. Something like cleaning a room or doing some laundry/dishes helps you to focus yourself on doing another task and over time brings you into a type of zen state. Afterwards when the task is finished you can then return to the game eager to play again as this time as you’re done with working and wanna wind down with some games! That’s just my own idea though, so feel free to leave yours in the comments below!
