It’s been quite the year for games. Lots of big new releases, lots of surprise hits (looking at you Balatro!) and plenty of updates/remakes to make people happy and remind us all why we love games.
I’ve certainly been busy this year with plenty of titles, even if my revie list has looked a bit short. From what I’ve played that came out this year though I must say that Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree has probably been my favourite experience this year, though of course I’ve also been playing lots of older titles too. With 2025 looking even better in terms of the games coming out who knows just how good things will get, it gives me hope even in an increasingly dark time for developers in the AAA industry.
