Digital Extremes, developers of the popular free to play MMO Warframe, recently did a full dev breakdown of their next update to the game, Angels of the Zariman, and it’s a hell of a doozy.
First we will be getting a brand new zone to explore and fight in, the original spaceship where all the strangeness with our main characterss, The Tenno, started known as the !Zariman 10-0″. This will be a pseudo-new open world area that will have you exploring ther ship, discovering it’s dark secrets and even getting your very own apartment within the ship to customise and use as your new living space. Alongside that the update will come with new gameplay modes, new ‘evolving’ weapon types, a rework of the Eximus enemy type and even a brand new rework of the Focus System.
Alongside all this the update which is scheduled to come out in April will also include a new Warframe known as Gyre, an updated Prime Warframe for Garuda and even a bunch of changes for existing Warframe Augments to make them more appealing to try out. This all seems like a pretty big update and the story of it takes place shortly after the conclusion of The New War. I’m excited to see where it all goes and if the new additions will be welcome to the game or if we will end up with another Railjack situation… I guess we will just have to wait and see!
