With the announcement of Counter-Strike 2 earlier this year, a port of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive to the Source 2 engine it was almost certain that Valve were going to generate hype whenever this game would finally release. Well it seems we most likely won’t have to wait for long as the official Counter-Strike 2 Twitter account recently posted a simple question of “What are you doing next Wednesday?”.
If that isn’t a hint then I don’t know what is. Of course this could all just be a wee prank by the social media managers running the account, but still there is a good chance that the update will be released next Wednesday and that’s sure to bring a lot of smiles to people’s faces. I don’t play much Counter-Strike myself, but I’m glad at least one Valve community is getting a Source Engine upgrade… unlike TF2…
