Time for something a little fun. Doom Mods have been some of the most expansive and creative conversions of an old video game ever made. This is partly due to the ease at which the game can be manipulated and also the amount of years that have been put behind these mods. Well another fun one has entered the scene and it makes things a little less frightening.
Named ‘Mr Friendly’, this total conversion sees you playing as a friendly Demon who helps out the characters of the Hellscape and also various marines with their problems. These can be things such as talking about their problems, getting items for them or playing small minigames with them. It’s a strange twist but one that is most certainly welcome as it really adds a lot of charm and fun to a game series that we all know very well by now. It’s even made by an ex-Double Fine developer so you know that it’s of good quality!
