The original Boltgun was a very fun romp into the Warhammer: 40K Universe taking the ridiculousness of the whole setting and ramping it up to an appropriate 11, as befits a game series that has giant armored space priests fighting against demons.
What I didn’t know, was as part of the announcement of the sequel to this game, they also released a smaller spin-off called Boltgun: Words of Vengeance, which is a typing shooter game ala Typing of the Dead, which is such a silly and fun concept that works so well with this setting. Well it turns out the devs loved this little silly additional project that they are releasing even more content for it in the form of new levels and of course more words and phrases to shoot demons and heretics to. I adore when game devs get to make and enjoy a silly spin-off to their main game, so seeing something like this getting even more support brings a smile to my face.
