There’s gonna be a lot of happy executives eating big lunches today as Amazon have finalised a deal with Games Workshop to finalise the go-ahead of a series of TV Shows dedicated to the Warhammer 40K Universe, of course with Henry Cavill taking the lead on the first show.
This is something that was spoken about for a while, but now that it is fully confirmed you can bet you will be seeing the same amount of milking of this franchise as Star Wars. Will Amazon be able to fight against Disney’s golden goose? That remains to be seen, but for one I am happy Henry is directing as he seems to genuinely care about the setting. Let’s just hope it’s not 5 different shows all talking about Space Marines…
