Now that we begin the long wait for the Lord of the End Times DLC for Total War: Warhammer 3 we asked ourselves would that be the only piece of content released for the game this year, and the answer was surprisingly no. That’s because of what are being called ‘Character Packs’ which instea dof being big DLC content is essentially just releasing one new legendary lord, with a couple new units for a cheaper DLC price.
The first one they have shown off is for Grand Cathay and brings Tigermen to the faction. They will be led by Bhashiva the White Tiger, a Tigerman General and leader of their species. I like the idea of the character packs as they allow you to really customise the characters and units you would actually like to play with. My only concern is with the numbers on how this will actually sell, as less popular factions may end up feeling like duds if they release character packs for them. Regardless, this one will be released at the latter half of Spring, so we will see if this new model ends up being successful or not.
