The Loss of Hideki Sato

Sleep well good sir

Always sad to see an icon of the old gaming world pass away, such as in this case with Hideko Sato, former president of Sega and the chief engineer that heralded the company through the later era of their hardware catalogue including the Sega Mega Drive and the Dreamcast. He then helped Sega successfully transition into a software-only company following the end of the 90’s when he became president of the company for several years, one that seems to have stuck to this day in keeping the business alive. Regardless, he died at the 77, so he got to live a long and successful life. May he get to play that beautiful retro 90’s era of gaming in peace wherever he has ended up.

That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
