Reviving a Digital Card Game

Will this truly come back?

The passion some people have for niche games can be admirable, it’s why movements like ‘ Stop Killing Games’ can have so much support behind them, people want to play the games they paid for. An excellent example of which is the story of The Elder Scrolls: Legends, a digital card game that was put out of service in 2024. Ever since then however, fans have attempted to revive the game on community-driven servers.

Enter ‘Elder Scrolls Legends Reborn’, this similuated experience of the original game not only allows you to play the single player experience, but at the current moment allows for a limited version of the multiplayer too! The game is obviously still in development, as it’s a fan project being developed for free, and isn’t available quite yet, but soon it should be in a playable state, and available for others to relive their time with this card game. I myself played through the single player to completion, though didn’t see myself playing much more after this. Will this be the next big fan project that will be talked about for years? I certainly hope so! And I hope more things like this happen, everyone deserves to play the games they love.

That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
