If you’ve been into the emulation scene at all then you will no doubt know about Dolphin, the emulator used for Gamecube and Wii games. It’s perhaps the most famous emulator and is stuffed with a huge bunch of features that makes playing older games just that bit more enjoyable and easy to do.
Well it seems as though they really want to bring modern features to older titles as they recently partnered with ‘RetroAchievements’, a website dedicated to adding achievements to older games and helping you track your progress, to bring a dedicated achievement progressions system to their emulator library. Now you can play your old Gamecube titles and feel accomplished while you do so! Personally I’m not someone who cares about achievements that much, but for those that enjoy that type of thing this will be an absolutr godsend to them. No longer will they have to fill out everything manually on the website, just play the games and they will unlock themselves! You thought Xbox was the only platform that could make insane achievements for their games? Just you wait…
