As was expected by many thanks to a tease that was released a few days ago, Nagash is finally, officially being added to Total War: Warhammer 3 in the next big DLC being released in Summer 2026, Lords of the End Times.
This DLC will consist of the Great Necromancer himself as a brand new faction that combines all forms of the various other undead factions whilst also bringing an apocalyptic flair and unique units. Alongside this various other missing undead legendary lords such as Neferata and Walach Harkon will be coming with Nagash to not only serve as his lieutenants but will also be relevant to their respective factions. This seems very inspired by the incredible mod that was released for the game last year and I am curious to see how exactly it will differ enough to make it worth purchasing. Personally I can see it being more of an entire End Times DLC with new, relevant Legendary Lords for the setting that aren’t undead focused, though at this time we aren’t sure. Still, this is the most exciting news to me as a fan of Necromancy, and especially how it was implemented in this series, so I will be waiting in anticipation for summer of next year to finally bring the CORRECT ending to the Warhammer Fantasy world that the original End Times should have been.
