Halo Studios have announced that the last major content update for Halo Infinite will be coming on November 18th, and with that the game would no longer be receiving additional content outside of some minor bug fixes. This news doesn’t come as a huge surprise to people as the game hasn;t exactly done the best with regards to makrte share or cultural impact, in fact while I enjoy the Halo series once I played a few multiplayer games I pretty much dropped it and didn’t bother checking out the new content added.
This comes as even funnier to many as the original plan for this title was to be a constantly updated game that would go on, technically, for an ‘Infinite’ amount of time. Alas, here we are, once again a game company overestimates the longevity of a live service title in the hopes of convincing people to get on board their long-term gaming investment. Maybe just leave it to the professionals guys… Warframe has been going strong for over 10 years!
That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
