While I’ve been having a lot of fun with Guild Wars 2 lately, I must admit I never really got into the original Guild Wars as while I did buy and play it I found it to be a bit too confusing for a newbie like myself and so ended up dropping it.
However, it seems as though ArenaNet really want me to give it another go as they announced Guild Wars: Reforged, a complete overhaul of the original game with slightly remastered graphics and a whole bunch of quality of life features. Best of all, the entire game, including expansions, is coming down in price and for existing owners of the original game it’s a free update to the game, This is absolutely huge and will most certainly revitalize the playerbase of the original game, and hell, perhaps it will convince me to also give it another try. The update is set to come out on December 3rd so if you’re looking to try out a classic MMO, perhaps this might be the best time to do so.
