One of the strange ways that Hytale differs from Minecraft is the various features that are still under development. This is of course to be expected from a game that is still in Early Access, but this is no more exemplified than with animal taming, a staple in standard Minecraft that wasn’t present in Hytale.
No more the devs have said! The next update will bring not only Animal Taming, allowing you to feed, breed and get resources from animals, but also comes with slightly improved combat mechanics, the sickle tool which will allow you to mass-harvest items and additional climbing/mantling movement mechanics such as shuffling side to side and dropping down from a ledge, which is sure to make parkour maps more interesting. There’s plenty to chew on here, and now that you can make a proper farm with animals as well as crops, the true farmer’s fantasy is back in Hytale.
That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
