Yeah yeah give your hopes up, no Bloodborne port this time either folks. In the recent Sony State of Play showcase event (which I simply cannot be bothered to fully cover) they announced that a new collection of Metal Gear games, Master Collection 2, is coming out for modern platforms, including PC. This includes a bunch of smaller titles but most notably includes Metal Gear Solid 4 and Peace Walker.
Peace Walker was a PSP exclusive, so always nice to see something like that come to a bigger screen, but more interestingly is 4 which was a PS3 exclusive game, now finally coming to PC for the first time. It’s a big move, and shows that Sony isn’t quite as restrictive with its old exclusives as it used to be. Now we just need to hope ALL of their exclusives also come to PC… we can only hope. The next Master Collection is set to come out on 26th August, so get ready for that date Metal Gear Fans!
