Have you ever wanted to play a full MMORPG without having to interact with other players while still getting the full group and social experience? Well have I got a deal for you! Releasing in April, and with a demo out now, a new indie game called Erenshor seeks to provide exactly that!
The concept is fairly simple, but genius in execution. It’s a full MMO, bringing into mind a mix of WoW and Runescape, with the twist that all the other players you share a ‘Server’ with are actually NPC’s, no real players around! Despite this, they will act exactly like normal players, go on quests, get gear, level up and even look to group and raid with other ‘players’. It all seems so authentic to the early MMO genre and despite these AI-driven characters not being actual people, it all feels very much like a game of the time. So if you loved old MMO’s, this may be just the thing for you if you’ve lost touch with the community or friends!
