Now this is a surprise I didn’t expect. The hit (and super edgy) Xbox exclusive superhero game form the mid 2000’s, [PROTOTYPE], recently got a patch on PC versions that allowed the game to be played on modern hardware as apparently the game really struggled with changes in modern rigs.
Now this is an odd thing, as the series has been on hiatus since its sequel, but with this, and secret new credits added in the patch, there is speculation that a potential remake/remaster of the games is in development and if so then you can count on me to be incredibly hyped for it. I adored these games as an edgy teen myself, and it was such a shame that the series never got a third entry, but this will be a nice substitute. Perhaps they are even fishing for interest before making another entry, similar to what happened to the Crash Bandicoot remakes. Regardless, I’ll be happy to see what comes of this, I need my dose of edge!
