I’ve never been that much into the Hellraiser franchise. I’m obviously aware of it and the unique world and imagery created for the films is gorgeous, however something strange to note is the fact that it never really had any video games made for it. Perhaps that’s due to the risque nature of the plot, but regardless Saber Interactive have announced that they are finally giving the series its due and having a full first-person horror game made about it.
It’s called ‘Hellraiser Revival’, and the trailer above shows just about what you’d expect, chains, spikes and plenty of hellish sights! The game doesn’t have a release date quite yet but for horror fans I’m sure they will be eagerly awaiting this. Hopefully it doesn’t end up like the later films anyway…
