Video Game Archival is so important to the continued success of the medium and the recognition of video games as an art form, and so I really appreciate projects such as the one NoClip are currently doing.
They have designed a browser-based video game level museum, allowing you to load up, explore and experience various levels and worlds from a huge variety of games. From Super Mario Galaxy to Psychonauts and Halo there’s a huge variety of worlds that are just there available for you to explore using a free cam. You come to appreciate so much more about how games are made and the exact techniques that goes into the creation of some of your favourite titles.
