One common factor I enjoy seeing in games is the use of Eldritch Horror, the type of scary or strange design that makes you think about the grander scale of the universe, and how the odder it gets, the more tentacles seem to be involved. While Lovecraft was a… questionable individual, there’s no doubt that the genre he created has had a lasting impact on gaming and fiction as a whole.
As such, I’d love to hear about your favourite examples of Eldritch Horror in video games. I want to see your weirdest designs, your creepiest characters and your most unknowable of plots.
