I’ve been playing The Alters recently and while I think it’s unforutnately a bit too late to do a review on it I must say I’ve been having a blast with it. The story is interesting, the dialogue is funny and reflective, the gameplay is suitably challenging but fun and I like the mix of styles that the game has me go through. It’s on the Game Pass too, so if you have it, I recommend checking it out. It’s a fun experience, plus the base building mechanics remind me of XCOM and that’s always a good thing.
