Half Life is many things, but one thing most people wouldn’t confuse it much for would be a Boomer Shooter, even though it’s a game in which you move around quite fast and shoot things. However, modding team Dark Vector want to make this idea into reality as they revealed Element 64, a focused boomer shooter using Half Life assets and setting it in a vaguely similar scenario of Gordon Freeman doing all he can to take down alien scum, at least I’m sure that’s what he’s thinking.
The game currently has a demo out and promises 4 chapters of fast-paced shooter action which is certainly a fun premise to be had. No release date yet, but be sure to check out its Steam page right here and keep an eye on this, could be a fun romp!
